On December 29, Yogesh Kumar, a 2021 graduate of School of Overseas Education, donated 3,000 RMB to the Education Development Foundation of Guizhou Medical University.
This is the first time that an international student has donated to the university.
On the same day, Peng Yun, general secretary of Guizhou Medical University Education Development Foundation, Alumni Association, Wu Jiahong, dean of the School of Overseas Education, and teachers and international students, joined and witnessed the warm donation ceremony.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the School of Overseas Education, Yogesh Kumar would like to thank the school and the teachers for their efforts and their help through this act.
"I hope to make a little contribution to the education cause of international students in the school." He said.

This donation will be put into the fund of the School of Overseas Education of Guizhou Medical University, which will be used for talent training, talent introduction, student training, teaching staff development, discipline construction, science and technology innovation, public welfare training, conference development and other activities.

It is reported that Yogesh Kumar has passed the Indian medical licensing examination, not only becoming a doctor, but also established his own clinic to protect the health of the people in his hometown and practice the oath of "striving for human physical and mental health for life".
