On 2019-10-13 our university organized a “union trip” for foreign students to visit Chinese rural areas. The main aspect of the trip was to enhance the teacher-student relationship. 17 foreign students all the way from INDIA, PAKISTAN, and NIGERIA with their respected Chinese teachers went to explore Chinese culture and tradition in to a small village. The atmosphere of the village was very fascinating and it is a place worth visiting.

Our university organized a bus for teachers and students for a comfortable visit and it took almost an hour to reach our destination. We started a trekking for approximately 2km and took a glimpse of the serene view of the mountains and the village area. Our dean, professor Wujiahong was really enthusiastic about the trip as it was our first time to develop a bond with our overseas department members. We also took a lot of pictures while exploring the whole way.
There were many activities that took place, and all the teacher and students were divided into three teams, the Red Warriors, the Yellow Tiger and the Ninja.

The first activity started, in which each team had to act its motto, logo and show the power of togetherness and team work.

Now it was time for lunch, and our honorable teachers had arranged barbecue for us. We had delicious food. This time was the most cherishable time in which teachers and students shared their life experiences.

The second activity was all about the team work, which was how to make coordination and work as a good team. In this activity a wooden stick was placed on every team member’s index fingers and with a proper coordination altogether they had to put the stick on ground. This activity was won by the Red Warriors.

No matter who won or lost, each activity taught us a lesson that team work depends on every member of the team. Someone had truly said “if you want to be powerful in life, educate yourself, and difficult roads leads to beautiful destination” and we learnt it from this awesome trip.

So, the third activity started, this was named “passing the ball” in which we had to pass the ball through a stick and had to take it to a goal. This activity was really interesting. And the winner was the Team Ninja.

At last we all shared memorable moments in which teachers and students shared their life experiences. Some of them sang songs and some danced. From this we could know each other better. Finally the time came when we all had to say “goodbye” to each other as “there is always a sunset after a sunrise”. But these experiences will  last forever with us, these joys, laughter and smiles will always be cherished  and remembered with a hope that we will enjoy them again together in future. We thank our teacher and coordinator for this joyful trip.
谢谢你们!
