April 18, 2025 – GMU sports arena was alive with energy and excitement, as players from various backgrounds gathered for a thrilling mixed doubles badminton competition. This year’s event emphasized international collaboration, encouraging participants to pair up with Chinese partners. This initiative highlighted the sport's role in fostering cultural exchange and unity.


The tournament featured an impressive array of talent, with local and international competitors showcasing their skills in front of an enthusiastic audience. Partnerships formed from diverse backgrounds brought unique playing styles to the court, resulting in captivating matches filled with intensity and strategy.

As the day progressed, the tournament’s excitement escalated, with many teams delivering impressive performances. The semifinals witnessed high-stakes battles, where players demonstrated their determination and skill. Each match was a test of endurance, featuring long rallies and impressive displays of teamwork.

After a hard-fought battle, Shah Zaman and his partner triumphed, securing the championship title; Mehreen and her partner finished as the runners-up; Uzair and his partner came in third place.
